SEAFOOD ALERGY AND SYMPTOMS OF SEAFOOD ALERGIES

The seafood alergy is considered as the adverse alergic reaction by eating seafood like fish and shellfish that may probably cause even death.

This is supposed to be the third most commonly noticed food alergies which on an average affect nearly 3 percent of adults in the United States as revealed by the American Academy of Alergy, Asthma and Immunology – AAAAI. The normal symptoms of the seafood allergy are such as: hives, itching, stomach upset and nasal congestion. However, the serious most cases of the seafood allergy may exhibit anaphylactic shock which is probably the life threatening reaction distinguished by difficulty breathing and abrupt fall of blood pressure.

Discarding the consumption of seafood of any description is the best way of averting seafood allergic reactions.
